There is a Clinical Research Unit in the Section of Stomatology and Oral Science at the CESI .

Besides clinical research, the Unit of Stomatology and Oral Science also makes use of the several laboratories in the centre for regenerative medicine studies with stem cells from oral tissues and confocal interface microscope studies between regenerative bones and biomaterial implants.

Quantitative analyses of the composition of extra-cellular fluids both in normal and pathological conditions and also in contamination are performed.
